窃按《混元皇帝圣记》云:“太上老君者,混元皇帝也。乃生于元始,起于无因,为万道之先,元气之祖也。”“老子者,老君也。此即道之身也,元气之祖宗,天地之根本也。夫大道玄妙,出于自然,生于无生,挺于空洞,陶育乾坤,号曰无上正真之道。”“老君者,乃元气道真,造化自然者也。强为之容,则老子也。以虚无为道,自然为性也。”

故知老君即是道体,是以有“老子一炁化三清”的说法,而这个化三清的老子,和鸿钧老祖似乎又点像,但是显然不是鸿钧老祖。

后世道士,不明经义,以《封神演义》等小说神话故事为本来,改窜教典,甚可叹也。《封神演义》体现的是明朝以来三教合一的思想,是以元始门下十二弟子有一些是佛教的菩萨,比如文殊广法天尊等等。早段时间,我还看到了一部《太上观音宝忏》,其中有什么灵鹫山某某洞云云,也多是受《封神演义》一书的影响。

学者当知,修道当以经典为本,不可受坊间书籍的迷惑,否则有的人还真的以为太上老君是玉皇的炼丹之臣,鸿钧老祖是三清的师父,王母娘娘是玉皇大帝的媳妇,岂不笑话? [6]
